It’s no joke, April’s Games With Gold is fantastic

After three months of excellent Games With Gold offerings, Microsoft once again stepped it up a notch with April’s Games With Gold. Nudging their way into your games library are two Xbox One, and two Xbox 360 games that can be also be played through Backward Compatibility.

Lead your troops to victory and exact your revenge in the fantastic looking Xbox One launch title, Ryse: Son of Rome, which will be available throughout April. Starting 1 April, you can play as Roman soldier Marius Titus who aims to avenge the slaying of his family and fight to save the Roman Empire. This third-person hack-and-slash boasts fluid, combo-based combat with stunning graphics and environments.

Following hot on its heels is the tragic story of the young Clementine in the zombie apocalypse, The Walking Dead: Season 2, from 16 April 16 to 15 May. Your choices and actions impact the story as you are constantly tested to survive in a world gone mad. Meet other survivors, explore new locations, and make gruesome decisions in this excellent five-part series.
