Now that all the hype around Pokémon GO has died down. it’s time to give up all your free time to another mobile game – PewDiePie’s Tuber Simulator. Loosely based around popular PC game YouTuber’s Life, the game will see you creating and customizing a YouTuber to become the greatest internet sensation the world has ever seen.
PewDiePie’s Tuber Simulator will focus mainly on customization with the goal being to get as many subscribers as possible. Players will be able to choose from an absolutely ridiculous number of items to customize both their YouTuber and their studio/setup to further acquire more subscribers.
Players will be able to choose a certain topic to theme their YouTuber around; one can choose from music, beauty, gaming, funny videos or creepy videos to name just a few.
PewDiePie said in the initial announcement that the game will play a lot like Neko Atsume where you’ll play for a while, most likely setting up videos and/or streams, put it in your pocket and forget about it for the next 10 minutes. There are mini games to play while you wait for in-game videos to complete so you can play till your battery dies, if you so wish.
The game will have an online multiplayer aspect where players can rate other player’s studios and follow them if they like their setup. There will also be a ranking system to keep track of your progress amongst your friends and get ideas from top players.
The best part about the game? Unlike PewDiePie’s previous game, Legend of the Brofist, Tuber Simulator will be free to play on release. Microtransactions will be available for speeding up the rate that you accumulate subscribers, buying subs and instantly unlocking items.
The game will be launching on all mobile devices on September 29th 2016. Mark the date on your calendars and get in early!
